“It came without packages, boxes, or bags. Maybe Christmas doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas (he thought) means a little bit more.” — The Grinch.

Confession: I’m an Amazonian. I depend on the site for everything from coffee to duck tape, from pajamas to furnace filters. In the name of convenience, 97% of my Christmas shopping is done online.
But lately, I’ve been reading a lot of info about going simpler this holiday season and I’m inspired by the suggestion to waste less. I’ve been brainstorming ways to consume less and perhaps to give more experiences than things. I’d love any suggestions you may have in regards to this venture.
And as for my review of The Grinch (2018):
How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966) > How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
The Grinch (2018) > How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966) > The Grinch (2018)
I realize that > is a cop-out. But I absolutely love the original. And I’m a purist. But I also greatly appreciated this new adaptation. The animation was absolutely spectacular (Oh! The snow on the green fur!) and the details of the city were so much fun to explore. From the art direction, to the voices, to the redeeming ending, it was beautiful.
